It’s never a good sign when you can’t access your own website. I hadn’t been able to get on for a day or two, and I wondered what was going on. I tried everything I could think of, and then I googled myself.
It’s also never a good sign when Google is telling the world that your website may cause their computers harm. I’m working on that, but for the time being, I backed up my database of posts and comments and completely deleted all my old WordPress files, re-installing the latest version from scratch. This site should no longer be attempting to harm your computer, although it’s presumably going to take some work on my part to convince Google.
I’ll have my weekly Braves post up tomorrow and probably some other stuff later in the week.
UPDATE: I think I’ve restored all of my plugins, and I’ve added one or two new ones as well. Pages now fold out of the “Navigation” menu on the sidebar, rather than all of them appearing at once. That will require an additional click or two if you want to go directly to 2008 Hitting Stats in the Braves section, but it reduces the clutter on all the post pages. You can always bookmark a specific page if that suits you better. I’ve also replaced the large Google Reader gadget with one that looks like the rest of my theme, so that’s nice. I did not restore the WP-Table plugin, as I mentioned in the comments. Let me know if anything else is not working right for you.
Also, I offer my apologies if you are using a release candidate of Firefox 3, which notifies you when you visit a reported attack site. I just checked on the site using a portable version, and it’s very persistent about warning you not to do anything.

I am still working on getting some of my plugins back, so you’ll see things that don’t look right for a little while (i.e. the mess of categories at the top). I will be fixing things as I find them, but one thing I’m not planning to update is the table-displaying plugin I used prior to Google Spreadsheets’ HTML-embedding functionality. A lot of old tables will not work, but if you want to see the data within a specific post, just ask and I’ll try to get it to you.
Something else is wrong too; it usually takes me about five tried to get logged on. I did it on the first attempt this time.
