Champion Baptist added to schedule

The schedule got a little more interesting last week when Champion Baptist was added to this year’s schedule. CBC (not to be confused with Central Baptist College in Little Rock), which is located in Hot Springs, will be playing its first season of intercollegiate athletic competition. Among such concerns as figuring out who will be on the team, they will be coming into the Rhodes Field House for a game in the middle of our conference season. It should be fun for everyone, and by “everyone,” I mean our team and our fans. The game will be Saturday, February 4, at 4 PM. We’ll be coming off a Thursday road game at Delta State, with a Monday home game against UAM looming. I hope the CBC players will be ready for what could be a trying day for them.
