Player Efficiency Rating (PER)

Formulas for PER are based on the work of ESPN’s John Hollinger. PER is intended to be an overall player rating based on stats derived only from the box score. League average is set to 15, with the best players near 30 and the worst near zero.

The table is initially sorted by PER. I also include Usage Rate, SUPER (a version of PER I created to adjust for schedule strength and usage), and Oliver’s Offensive Rating for comparison.
