Bisons split two games at St. Mary's (TX)

I’ve been extremely busy since Friday, so we’re going to keep this short and sweet.  The Bisons played in the St. Mary’s (TX) tournament in San Antonio over the weekend, beating SE Oklahoma on Saturday and losing to the host team on Sunday.  That means their win streak ended at nine games.

Perhaps they’ll stay nationally-ranked heading into the new year, but I doubt it.  We’ll see later today.  They’re still off to a great start this year, regardless of that.

  1. I saw that…they rallied from down by 21 at one point. It’s a pretty impressive win on the surface, although this year’s Indiana team is pretty bad. Sure ought to help them with recruiting, though.

  2. That was likely Indiana’s last chance to win a game until their Feb. 25th home matchup against Northwestern.

I feel little sympathy for Indiana’s current plight given they knew what they were getting into hiring Kelvin Sanctions.

Kicking myself for missing the UTC/Niagara game.
